Please join us for our January CPCU lunch meeting on Thursday January 15, 2026 at 11:30am!
Our speaker will be John Bull, who will talk about basic Origin & Cause concepts for fire losses, as well as current trends in the O&C world and the process of vetting O&C experts.
About our speaker:
John Bull is a Master Special Investigator with NC Farm Bureau, and has been employed with the company for 21 years. He is an instructor with OSFM Fire Investigation Technician Certification Program; an Adjunct Instructor at Catawba Valley Community College Fire & Rescue Program, Rowan Cabarrus Community College, & Davidson Davie Community College; and the current State President of the NC-International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) Chapter, which is currently the largest Chapter in the world. John has also done multiple training presentations for public and private sector investigators at the local, state, national and international level, to include the upcoming International Consumer Product Health & Safety Organization Symposium in Orlando, Fl, February 2026. Class titled: Culprit or Victim? Applying a collaborative approach to identifying the origin and cause of a fire or explosion.
The presentation will be preceded by a catered lunch, and there will be door prizes! We hope to see you there!
